Project Description:
Docuseries Launch Video
Project Overview:
For the inaugural episode of the YouTube docuseries "Worldlight True Worshippers," I directed the production, steering the project from concept to completion. This episode sets the tone for the series, introducing audiences to the thematic and visual style that will continue throughout.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Direction and Project Management: Led a production team of three, overseeing all aspects of the series launch. Utilized Asana for project management to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of milestones.
Scriptwriting: Crafted a compelling narrative that effectively introduces the series' themes and subjects, setting a solid foundation for subsequent episodes.
Location Scouting and Selection: Handpicked filming locations that best complemented the episode's narrative, considering factors such as lighting, accessibility, and relevance to the content.
Wardrobe and Styling: Managed wardrobe selections to align with the visual storytelling, enhancing the authenticity and appeal of on-screen presentations.
Cinematography: Personally filmed half of the series using a Sony a6400, maintaining high production values and aesthetic consistency. Supervised additional shooting to ensure all footage met the series' standards.
Post-Production Leadership: Directed the post-production process with a focus on sound design, assigning editing tasks within the team to optimize strengths and efficiencies. Personally conducted final video edits and color grading using Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve and Fairlight for superior audiovisual quality.
Skills and Tools Used:
Sony a6400: Advanced camera work
Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve: Video editing and color correction
Fairlight: Sound design and audio post-production
